Everybody really got into their 3x 3 minute drama thing in Unit 4 and it did a lot of people a lot of good. All our "quieties" came off the wall and had fun getting involved.
So, I think it's fair to say that drama has been one of the successes of the year - no doubt about it - so much so that 4V have opted for more. So why not?

Prelude
The North Atlantic is struck by a terrible tsunami and some survivors are washed up on the shores of France.
Dolphin: Are you okay?
Whale: Wah! Bluek! Gaah! Yes, we're OK. I think. (more spluttering and coughing)
Dolphin: I'm glad we survived the tsunami!
Ray: (Shaking his head) Brrrr. Where are we now?
Whale: Hey look! There's the Eiffel Tower!
Dolphin: So, we're in Europe?
Ray: It's far too cold here!
Dolphin: This place is the pits!
Whale: Yeah, this place is horrible!
Dolphin: OK. If we're ok, let's get out of here before we all freeze to death!
Ray: What's that? Oh look! There's a fishing boat. Let's catch up with it and go somewhere else.
Whale : Where are we going anyway?
Ray: Quiet! Listen!....
Fisherman 1: If we want to catch some big tuna, where should we go?
Fisherman 2: Let's go to the Pacific Ocean! The tuna are huge there!
Fisherman 1: Great idea!
Dolphin: Did you hear that! They're off to the Pacific Ocean!
Ray: Where's that?
Dolphin: Why don't we just follow them.
Whale: Don't get too close. They might say tuna now, but whale later!
Ray: That took a while. Is this it, then?
Dolphin: So, do you like it, or not?
Whale: No! It's still far oo cold!
Dolphin: I wish I could help you find a good place. Mmmmm
(thinking). What kind of place are you looking for?
Ray and Whale (together): Somewhere warm. That's for sure!
Dolphin (still thinking): Mmmmm. I know! have you ever heard of the Indian Ocean?
Whale and Ray (together again): No, never. How far away is it?
Dolphin: Not far, really! Follow me.
(After a while)
Ray: it's getting warmer
Ray and Whale (together): I love this place!
Whale: Yes, this is my cup of tea!
Dolphin: So? Do you think you'll stay here?
Whale: This is perfect!
Ray: Thank you Dolphin!
Whale "I propose a toast! Raise your glasses everyone! The best salty water. Cheers! Salut!
Everybody: Yeaaaaah!
Whale: Do you want be our friend?
Dolphin: Why, of course I do!
Whale, Ray and Dolphin: Hooraay!!!!

This work has a lot of strong and excellent qualities covering a variety of different language skills.
Firstly, the concept is original and fun, using "real" English expressions and drawing on some good general knowledge.
But, the best part for us as teachers and observers, was to see how you put your hearts and souls into this and had fun with it.
You should all be really proud of this.
