Why Do Fish Have Scales?

Fish have scales because scales are like armour. Scales protect them. Sometimes the sea can get rough from storms and the fish can be tossed against sharp rocks.

People don't have scales because their habitat is different. But their skins can be damaged by the weather if they are not careful.
