it makes it funny because everybody can read it expect for charlie, even snoopy can read it
I think the boy was Tirta, he does'nt know what everything means(The writting near the dog)and the girl is Didi(because she like to yell to him, even to me, sometimes!)
It makes funny because the sign says "beware of the dog" but Charlie can't read it so he read it "beware of the frog".Charlie is the only person who can't read.

Nobody would put a sign up "BEWARE OF THE FROG" in fron of a fog kennel. Tha's ridiculous!
Charlie's not a good reader -clumsy, careless, and even Snoppy is disappointed, suggesting that even he can read the sign better than Charlie Brown.

Well Christ, you had a shot, but Lucy is a clever girl and she CAN READ. That's why she she gets angry with Charlie because he can't even read the sign which would never say "Frog"!
Even Snoppy is disappointed because a dog a much more important than a frog.
