In this song, "I Just Wanna Live", the lead singer, (I think his name is Joel Madden) of the famous pop group Good Charlotte, is complaining that people are always giving him advice to change his lifestyle and they say that he's just wasting himself and throwing his money"down the gurgler."
But, he's had enough of people sticking their noses into his business and life 24 hours a day and he wants to be left alone, in peace, and because he's still young - he just wants to live! (and laugh at the R and F)

This was actually very tricky, and even if the students could have managed to understand the song a bit, it would have been great, but to be able to explain it like this, is quite special. Ed
